I have also accomplished a great feat in the bus: the Spices!
Thank you to two of my good friends for the beautiful jars to make my spices awesome. No more plastic in my spice life! Spending way too much time on Pinterest ogling over all the beautiful spice racks, cabinets, & hangers; inspires one to take on that project and make your own. Everyone shows you the gorgeous finished result and sometimes what it looked like before the organization, but no one ever talks about how much work is put into it. When you decide to move all the spices you have (if you're anything like me and have a lot), it takes hours! I couldn't believe that I had just spent half a day sorting, consolidating, pouring, and labeling. I'm not even done! I still have to sand, spray chalkboard paint (which I didn't have at the time), and relabel all of my jars. I still need to build the shelf above the window to put the spices on. Jeez.
I've also made the leap to making my own teas, I get to mix my own concoctions with bulk herbs! So far I have bulk herbs to make Masala Chai, a Woman's Moontime tea, and a floral herb tea. I will include recipes when I get the chance to perfect my flavors. Along with getting these done, I've been busy knitting and painting. If you haven't yet, check out my eBay site for all the painted rocks I've done.
